da Vinci Hysterectomy


The da Vinci procedure is a minimally invasive surgical procedure were a few small incisions are made similar to a laparoscopy procedure. In a da Vinci assisted hysterectomy the uterus is removed through one of these small incisions. This method avoids the need for a large open incision in most cases which minimizes the recovery time.
